Vennture Raffle Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions are the rules governing the Vennture Raffle. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Promoter
The raffle is promoted (in conjunction with Meyer & Marsh who will donate the Prize) by Vennture, a registered charity in England and Wales Charity Number: 1156851, whose registered office is at 26 Vicarage Road
Hereford, HR1 2QN.
2. Eligibility
2.1. Entry is open to all UK residents aged 16 or over, except employees of Vennture or Meyer & Marsh, their immediate family members, and anyone directly connected with the raffle.
2.2. You must be physically located in the UK when purchasing a ticket.
2.3. It is illegal for tickets to be purchased by, on behalf of, or for a person under 16 years of age.
3. How to Enter
3.1. Tickets are priced at £5 each.
3.2. Tickets can be purchased online www.justgiving.com/page/meyerandmarshcharityraffle,or in person at Meyer & Marsh, The Hop Pocket, Bishops Frome WR6 5BT (card only).
3.3. The closing date for ticket sales is 11.00PM on 31st October 2024. Entries received after this date will not be included in the draw but may still be charged.
3.4. The promoter accepts no responsibility for tickets that are lost, damaged, or delayed in the post or for any technical issues that may affect entry.
4. Prizes
4.1. The Prize is a Conform Ergonomic Recliner chair & matching footstool in grey fabric. The Prize has been donated by Meyer & Marsh. Local Delivery (within 40 miles) is included in the Prize). Collection of the Prize must be arranged by the Winner if outside this radius.
4.2. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternatives are available.
4.3. Meyer & Marsh reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
5. The Draw
5.1. The raffle draw will take place on Tuesday 5th November at Meyer & Marsh.
5.2. Winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries received by the closing date.
5.3. The result of the draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.
6. Notification of Winners
6.1. Winners will be notified by phone, or email within two days of the draw.
6.2. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to provide accurate contact details.
6.3. The Winners will be published on our website www.meyerandmarsh.co.uk or can be obtained by contacting Meyer & Marsh after 4th October 2024.
7. Claiming Prizes
7.1. Prizes must be claimed within 14 days of the draw date.
7.2. If a winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within the specified time, the prize will be forfeited, and Vennture reserves the right to re-draw the prize.
8. Use of Proceeds
All proceeds from the raffle will go directly to Vennture to support their charitable causes.
9. Data Protection
9.1. The promoter will comply with all applicable data protection laws.
9.2. By entering the raffle, you agree that your data may be used to administer the raffle and to inform you of future raffles and promotions from Vennture and Meyer & Marsh.
9.3. You can opt out of receiving communications at any time by contacting Meyer & Marsh, The Hop Pocket, Bishops Frome WR6 5BT. 01885 490478. sales@meyerandmarsh.co.uk.
10. Liability
10.1. Vennture and Meyer & Marsh accepts no liability for loss, damage, or injury suffered by participants as a result of participating in the raffle or accepting a prize, except where it is caused by negligence.
10.2. Vennture and Meyer & Marsh are not responsible for any technical failures or events beyond its reasonable control that may cause the raffle to be disrupted or corrupted.
11. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by English law, and participants agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
12. Complaints
If you have a complaint, please contact Meyer & Marsh at The Hop Pocket, Bishops Frome WR6 5BT. 01885 490478. sales@meyerandmarsh.co.uk.. If your complaint is not resolved, it will be referred to the Gambling Commission, which is the regulatory body for raffles.
